Currently just lost my breath. I remember connecting with Jarrid about being pastors who struggle with depression and mental health. I remember one conversation where he encouraged me because I was in a dark place at the time and trying to find my way out of the darkness. This is a gut punch. Hug someone close to you and tell them they are loved. Tell your pastors how much you love them. We all need it.
You were loved. Rest easy my brother.
Please pray for his family. If you want to know more about Anthem of Hope the organization Jared and his wife started to help support those struggling with suicidal thoughts I have tagged the photo. If you feel lead there is a GoFundMe link in my bio to help his family.
Sometimes you come in contact with a picture from years before and the feelings of hope, grace, and an endless future permeates your soul.
I need to get something off my chest.
Link in the bio.
Honored and excited to preach at @cedrouson incredible church @placeofchange this Sunday at 10am! I have a new message burning inside of me that I can’t wait to share. Come join us! //2415 Bainbridge Blvd, Chesapeake, VA//
Plain and simple: If you don’t like diversity, don’t go to Heaven. If that doesn’t fit your system...to hell with your system.
He is the ONCE MORE, DO IT AGAIN God.
Mark 8:23-25 “He took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village. When he had spit on the man’s eyes and put his hands on him, Jesus asked, ‘Do you see anything?’ 24 He looked up and said, ‘I see people; they look like trees walking around.’ 25 ONCE MORE Jesus put his hands on the man’s eyes. Then his eyes were opened, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly.”
